Butter Updates

Marketers and Data Nerds Rejoice!

Analytics is easily one of the most requested features from the Butter community. Specifically, "How many times has my post been viewed?" Well friends, wonder no more as today marks the launch of Google Analytics integration with Butter!

To get started, simply go to your Butter homepage and click that big blue button. You'll be prompted to give Butter CMS access to your account. Once you accept, you may see a screen like this:

Here you simply point Butter to the correct Google Analytics profile for your blog. Simply click on the profile and that's it! Butter will now automatically begin pulling in analytics for your blog.

When you return to your home page, you should now see total number of views for all of your posts. Views appears in the right most column.

Now you can quickly determine the impact your content has had as well as which content is the most popular with your audience.

What's Next? You tell us!

Total views is a great step towards deeper insights into how your content is performing but there's a ton more we have planned in our Analytics roadmap. This roadmap is heavily shaped by you, our customer.

What sorts of analytics would you like to see in your Butter dashboard? Let us know in the comments below!

Make sure you receive the freshest Butter product updates.
