The account owner is the primary administrator of a ButterCMS account. There is only one account owner per account, and they hold all Admin privileges plus billing access. ## About account owners * The account owner is the primary administrator * Only one account owner exists per account * The owner has all Admin privileges plus billing access * Ownership can only be transferred by ButterCMS support ## Transferring account ownership Ownership transfers are handled directly by the ButterCMS support team. The ButterCMS support team will guide you through the process.
