Slack is a messaging platform that brings all your team communication into one place, making it easier to collaborate and stay updated.

To enable this integration, you can access your integration settings or navigate to your Settings, click on the Integration tab, and scroll down to the Notifications subheading:

Step 1 — Connect to Slack

Click on the “Connect to Slack” button to connect to a Slack workspace.

Step 2 — Add a notification channel

Once connecting to your Slack workspace, you can set up the default channel that you want to receive Butter notifications in.

Step 3 — Choose the events you want to be notified by

In this next step, you can choose the events that you want to be notified by and you can choose the specific channel you want those notifications to be in, overriding the default channel that you may have added. For instance, you can set all blog notification to be sent to a #blog channel in your Slack workspace.

Step 4 — Testing

As shown in the screenshots in the previous steps, you can test the notification events by clicking on the “Test” button.
