ButterCMS connects to leading digital asset management (DAM) platforms so you can manage your media in the tool your team already uses, without leaving the ButterCMS dashboard.
Cloudinary
Cloudinary is a cloud-based media management platform with tools for storing, optimizing, and delivering images, videos, and other rich media assets — including dynamic resizing, intelligent cropping, automatic format conversion, and real-time image manipulation via API.
What you can do
- Access your full Cloudinary asset library directly inside ButterCMS
- Resize and crop images with predefined options or manual crop handles
- Apply image overlays with customizable placement
- Choose export formats and quality settings
- Edit images without leaving the ButterCMS dashboard
Setup
- Go to Settings > Integrations in your ButterCMS dashboard.
- Find the Cloudinary integration and click Enable.
- Enter your Cloud name and API key from your Cloudinary account.
- Save — Cloudinary is now your default DAM within ButterCMS.
You can find your cloud name and API key in your Cloudinary account dashboard under Settings > API Keys.
Using Cloudinary in ButterCMS
Once connected, your Cloudinary library is available wherever you add media in ButterCMS. To edit a Cloudinary image, click the ellipsis (…) button next to it and select Edit to open the editor inline.
Bynder
Bynder is a cloud-based DAM platform that helps teams centralize digital assets, enforce brand guidelines, manage creative projects, and collaborate across workflows.
What you can do
- Access your Bynder asset library directly inside ButterCMS
- Use Bynder as your default DAM within ButterCMS
- Keep brand assets and content management in sync
Setup
- Go to Settings > Integrations in your ButterCMS dashboard.
- Find the Bynder integration and click Enable.
- Enter your Bynder portal name.
- Save. Bynder is now your default DAM within ButterCMS.
