Butter's blog engine is set up to be an out-of-the-box blog editor that provides the basic required fields for an SEO optimized blog post. This blog post configuration covers the majority of blog post use cases and includes important fields for your posts' Metadata, SEO, Categories and Tags, to name a few.
Perhaps, you need additional, customizable fields that our blog post content type does not include. In that case, you'll want to use the fully customizable content type called Pages and create a Blog Post Page Type.
